You totally get spoiled when you live in an apartment. Anything goes wrong or breaks you can just call the landlord and have them take care of it. Let it be their problem! It is a whole different ball game when you own your own home. While owning your own home has it's perks, it is also A LOT MORE WORK. And believe it or not I have a much harder time getting ahold of the "landlord" for repairs than I ever had before. Maybe it is because the "honey-do-list" is always so long my poor husband doesn't stand a chance when something new goes wrong. There is one little piece of siding that fell off our house during a bad rain storm. My sweet husband had already put it back up once and it fell off again. Part of the problem was he needed a taller ladder to get the proper leverage. Someone in the ward loaned us a ladder and one of our other friends from the ward was kind enough to bring it to our house in his pickup and then helped Matt put it back on the house. Because Justin had done siding work on his own home he had some great solutions for getting the siding to stay up, hopefully permanently this time. We are so grateful to have such good friends, that are so willing to help to us.
