She did it! For six months we have had this Cinderella baby sitting on top of the 'fridge. Every time Madelynne would see it she would say,"I go pooh-pooh toilet I get Cinderella baby!" On Memorial Day Madelynne finally got her Cinderella baby. You know you are a parent when you are this excited about your child using the toilet!
The Illness: Our poor girl! Last Thursday Madelynne woke up with a fever of 103 degrees and a cough. By Friday night every time she would cough she would cry and tells us that it hurt. We took her to the doctor on Saturday morning and after an exam and chest x-ray, she was diagnosed with pneumonia. Madelynne has been a total Daddy's girl the past few days. Nothing makes you feel better when you are sick than a good snuggle!
Now that Madelynne is on the mend I have come down with pneumonia too! We are crossing our fingers that Daddy stays healthy!

I'm sorry! I hope you feel better soon! Yay for Madelynne for taking a poop. We too had a toy that sat on the fireplace mantle for months.
